1 box corn chex cereal
1 box wheat chex cereal
1 box rice chex cereal
1 bag pretzel sticks
1 large can mixed nuts
1/2 med size box of honey nut cheerio cereal (makes delicious sweet and salty taste)
1/2 lb pecan halves
2 sticks butter
2-3 TB Cavender's Greek Seasoning
2 disposable large foil roasting pans (they are usually sold in 2 packs)
Preheat oven to 350. Take 1/2 of first seven ingredients and place in each roasting pan. Mix gently with two serving spoons or by hand. Melt two sticks butter in medium sauce pan on low. Add greek seasoning and mix thoroughly. Spoon butter sauce over cereal mixes and gently toss. At this point you can sprinkle a LITTLE more greek seasoning on the top of the cereal mix if you want extra spice! Place roasting pan in oven and bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and place next roasting pan in oven for 15 minutes. While second pan is roasting, gently toss warm cereal mix from first batch to distribute seasoning coating thoroughly. Repeat for each roasting pan until each pan has been baked for total of 30-45 minutes (2 or 3 fifteen minute baking times). Bake until cereal and nut mixture has LIGHTLY browned. Let cool completely before placing in storage containers. Foil roasting pans are perfect for crimping in half lengthwise for convenience in pouring into 1/2 gallon ziplock bags. Makes 4 bags using 1/2 gallon ziplocks. This is a large batch recipe in order to use all of the cereal ingredients. Pefect for large parties and gift giving
